The Account Director role

The agency is seeking an Account Director with international integrated production experience to handle a global lifestyle brand.  This is a new win!

The agency is seeking an Account Director who is keen to take responsibility for growing and retaining existing accounts that are mainly focused on BTL and POS advertising.   There is also some ATL including TV and film and this is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Director who wants to gain ATL experience. 

The Account Director will be required to provide marketing consultancy to senior level marketing professionals and demonstrate an understanding of local markets to provide effective creative production solutions that meet the client’s marketing objectives. 

The agency is seeking a strong all-rounder, an Account Director who has an excellent knowledge of strategic brand management but who is also strong at managing high production volume accounts; an Account Director who can work on ATL and BTL campaigns but also has global adaptation/production experience. 

The agency would like to meet an Account Director who can demonstrate that they can grow and develop accounts, contribute to new business and enjoy managing a team. 

The Account Director will be the link between multiple client stakeholders and the agency, providing production-based solutions at the concept and master development stages of asset/campaign development.  This is a great opportunity for an Account Director with BTL experience to develop their ATL skills in TV and print.  

The Account Director will be working closely with the global media director to ensure that the agency is ahead of the game when it comes to reviewing proposed schedules and evaluating them against global master assets.

This is a client-facing role and the Account Director will be the link between the other global teams and the London office; engaging in strategic conversations and managing multiple stakeholders.

The Account Director is responsible for managing all global launches (brand campaigns and product campaigns) and providing production-based solutions at the concept and master stages of campaign development so experience of international TV, print and online campaign management is key to the role.

Management of international campaign implementation is essential and the Account Director will have three direct reports who manage different markets across all regions.

The Account Director will also manage a cultural review process and will use the knowledge amassed to pre-empt potential legal or cultural issues when reviewing early stage concepts.   

Also important is developing a relationship with the global media director and being ahead of the game when it comes to reviewing proposed schedules and evaluating them against global toolkits.

There are clients and agencies in multiple global markets so there is plenty of client contact throughout the whole process and the Account Director will be in complete control of information flow and timely updates.
