Who You'll Be Working With

One of London's most well known branding and design agencies are looking to add a Technical Project Director to the team! They've got a list of immediately recognisable brands as clients, a very well established team of project managers, an extremely strong resource / creative services manager to keep the plates spinning, and a strong, collaborative, team ethos. The office is also very swish.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the right hand person of the Head of Delivery for the agency, with responsibility for managing the agencies digital project management process including part of the project management team. Deliverable wise you'll have oversight of a stack of CMS builds (sitecore and episerve mostly), web builds, bits of branding, and the occasional digital transformation project. There is a very strong team of account managers but you'll still be just the right amount of client facing, with responsibility for pulling together full scopes of work, setting up and streamlines process, and managing budgets for multiple programmes of work. In terms of the structure around you, you will be one of a team of fifteen (going on eighteen, we're working on several roles here) including three project directors and the head of delivery who you'll be reporting into. In a nutshell, you'll have ownership of a range of exciting projects, scope to develop the team, and a lot of great people around you.

Who You'll Be

Extensive experience in web / CMS platform builds for a start. The ability to manager larger programmes of work, mentor and develop a team is key. Again, we don't need you to be building out an account as the client services team do that, but you will be more than comfortable with being client facing and being involved in pitching. Experience working in Agile, or being a trained and accredited Scrum Master is also key. Some knowledge and experience of running branding projects (identity, toolkits, architecture) would also be helpful.

That to the side, culture is key with these guys. We need somebody who seizes the initiative, thrives on being busy (and keeping yourself busy should your projects get a little quiet), and most importantly is a grounded people person.
