BRING A RADICAL APPROACH TO COMMUNICATION AND CAMPAIGNS IN WALTHAM FOREST
Waltham Forest is an ambitious borough. Driven by culture and the innate creativity of our residents, we have developed innovative ways to build our communities and transform our Council. As London’s first Borough of Culture and the MJ Council of the Year, we are creating more opportunities to empower our residents and boost their life chances.
We are a Council bursting with energy and opportunity. Our strong grasp of our finances mean that we can invest – in our residents, our place and our people.
Over the coming months, are working with our communities to set out what we want Waltham Forest to be by 2030; how that relates to the ever-changing world, and what that means for services and infrastructure.
To achieve our vision, we need a radical approach to communicating and campaigning with our residents. We need someone who can tell the story of our borough, a visionary campaigner who can use the power of communications to change behaviour, shape demand and place Waltham Forest at the centre of debates that impact on the lives of our residents.
Our Director of Communications and Campaigns will operate at the centre of our organisation, championing our residents and challenging our thinking. You will need a strategic brain to help shape our Council and our external stakeholder environment. Regardless of your background or the sector you work in, if you are a modern, strategic communications chief with a flair for storytelling and a track record of outstanding campaigning then we would love to hear from you.
