Radio Station which promises to offer a more modern and fresh take on sport are looking for a an experienced radio sales executive to join their growing team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. 

As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. You will innately understand how to find, grow and develop meaningful long-term business partnerships.

Senior Account Manager Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success

• Developing positive relationships and handling customers’ needs

• Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks

• Successfully delivering and executing campaigns from inception, to sign off, execution and post campaign review

• Be a visible brand ambassador in your own right for the Brand

General Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve long-term success

• Develop positive relationships with clients

• Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs

• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks

• Resolve any conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner

• Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase

• Deliver a track record that would enable the potential of a transition to management within 12 months

• Report on the status of accounts and transactions

• Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives

• Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

• You will be expected to build a long term business strategy that can be presented to the CEO & Sales Director on how you will achieve your budgets

• Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

What you will need 

• Proven work experience as a sales account manager or Sales account executive

• An understanding of the radio sales process from both a client direct and agency view point. 

• Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

• Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (Excel & PPT)

• Understanding of sales performance metrics

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time

• Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude

• BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field is

• You have a track record of doing what you say you will do when you said you would do it

• You know how to celebrate the wins you make happen

• You will have a favourite radio personality and a compelling reason why they are a favourite

• You understand that highly functioning teams are the fastest route to sustainable success
