TCM are working exclusively on a truly exciting brief with a global agency, who are looking for a Talent and Brand Director. This is a pivotal role reporting into the MD. You will be working across a variety of exciting projects across: Entertainment Marketing, Fashion and Culture. Representing talent to enhance brand, leading the initial strategy development process through to execution.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Solid brand relationships to build partnerships for clients
  • Proven track record of managing, nurturing, growing and commercialising talent 
  • Develop and manage a team of 3-4 to grow and guide career development
  • Good business sense, understanding of marketing and overall business strategy
  • Craft creative and strategic ideas to build client partnership opportunities
  • Overarching handle on all talent and brand clients, critical paths and financial structures 
  • Experience as a client services professional
  • Excellent negotiation skills with all parties including agencies, talent and across the business
  • Ability to manage multi-discipline teams and achieve deliverables
  • Take ownership and accountability for work- provide insight if there are issues and work on a solution
  • Identify new revenue streams and be a natural innovator
  • Work closely with the other Directors to deliver the full portfolio of services including Talent + Influence & Brand Extension
  • Accountability for financial targets
  • Able to negotiate and manage long form contracts and guide team with contract negotiation
  • Bringing ideas to the table in terms of types of projects/deals/opportunities and encourage dynamic deal making
  • Bringing industry awareness to the conversation - sharing thoughts/newness in the industry with clients as well as internally.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Significant and relevant work experience in brand and talent building and/or licensing, with experience of leading strategy development through to execution
  • A natural Client Services person – aapproachable, personable and an excellent relationship builder
  • Confident in ‘owning the room’ and with public speaking
  • Demonstrates continued knowledge around leading social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc.
