This opportunity as a Head of Design isn’t at a normal bulk standard brand agency. They are NOT vanilla and they don’t follow the rules. Quite the opposite!

As you’d expect our client is an award-winning creative brand comms agency that specialises in disruptive marketing and storytelling in both the B2B and B2C arenas. They currently work with a variety of well-known blue-chip brands that don’t like to follow typical off the shelf ideas.

To give you a peak behind the curtains, this agency was founded by two very charismatic, inspiring and well-known market leaders. Whom over the years, have created and developed some of the most successful agencies in their space.

It because of this career defining experience they are able to combine their knowledge and have created a business model and approach that delivers vast success both creatively as well as commercially.

Due to this ongoing success our client is now ready to bring on board a Head of Design who has a bucket load of experience in brand identity to work with the Executive Creative Director and who wants to help build and develop this brand agency on a long term basis.

To be suitable for this role as Head of Design you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • You might be a Senior Designer or Art Director with a desire to make the step up, or a Head of Design in a brand consultancy ready to take on more.
  • As a MUST you will have vast experience in Brand Identity and have portfolio to support this
  • Breakthrough work – we need to see that you’ve got great ideas and can work with and inspire people around you create or develop great brands.
  • We don’t need to see social / environmental work, but some experience of working with brands trying to create more purpose and meaning is preferred.
  • Demonstrable passion for making brands and campaigns meaningful, by creating strong brand positions that inspire consumers and businesses to engage, and ultimately buy
  • Love working with people. Positivity, looking for ways to say ‘yes’
  • Principles. Honest & straightforward.

In return for your skills and experience as Head of Design our client offers a wide salary banding ranging between £60-80k plus benefits. This is very much dependent on experience.
