Forming a crucial cog in the wheel of Haymarket’s growing Content Labs team, no one day will be the same in this varied marketing role. You’ll be at the heart of driving marketing campaigns for a variety of commercial content including bespoke events, webinars, expert reports and surveys across our diverse portfolio of B2B brands including Campaign, C&IT, PRWeek, Planning, Third Sector, World Architecture News, Management Today and more.

The day-to-day:

  • planning and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns to deliver our clients’ campaigns - whether it’s eyeballs on an online advertorial, generating leads for a webinar or getting bums on seats for a breakfast briefing event
  • writing and proofing creative and effective marketing copy spanning channels such as email, social, display and native ads
  • managing and tracking email campaigns from start to finish
  • creating and managing native advertising activity across Haymarket’s websites and bulletins
  • effectively using social media channels from LinkedIn through to Twitter and Facebook to engage our audience
  • creating and monitoring PPC ads
  • making best use of a multi-sector customer marketing database
  • conducting email and channel analysis to help inform and streamline the effectiveness of our campaigns and products
  • creating detailed post-campaign reports for our clients
  • attending regular client meetings and calls to track progress of projects
  • working with internal teams including marketing operations, design, sales and editorial
  • helping to create and maintain user friendly websites
  • contributing innovative ideas to improve and grow our portfolio

Other stuff:

  • you might have some marketing experience in a related field, but don’t worry if not. Being up for learning is more important than knowing everything on your first day
  • you have excellent communication skills, in person, online and over the phone
  • you’re happy dealing with people of every seniority
  • you can multitask effectively, prioritise and work well under pressure
  • you’re organised and have acute attention to detail
  • you’re a self-starter who has the ability to problem solve and think on your feet and outside the box
  • you never miss a deadline and are driven by meeting your targets
  • you’re a team player and not afraid of asking for help when you need it

What you’ll get from us:

  • Variety in your working life: we work across a number of sectors and products
  • Flexibility through smart working: while this role is office based, it is not office bound
  • Job and career support plus training opportunities
  • An extensive benefit scheme

Content Labs is building a culture where everyone feels comfortable, supported and able to perform at their best. We’re ever-evolving our drive towards an inclusive work-life balance.
