Account Director - Integrated Creative Agency, Retail brand
This is a really interesting brief, and a great opportunity that might suit an integrated / activation led Account Director.
This role is at a top creative agency and they've just won a relatively large piece of business. This will be lead by a Business Director, and they're looking for an Account Director who can support and lead the day to day on this business.
The brand / client is a retail team and they have a number of retail stores / centres across the UK. As they look to centralise their creative work, they're looking to the agency to help lead the creative and integrated work for their brand. You'll make central creative work that will run across ATL, digital, social and integrated comms, but from time to time you'll help to lead some activation work in the shopping centres, brand partnerships and integrated work that activates this activity. The Account Director will lead a wide range of projects and everyone will be different. The Account Director will have a lot of variety on this client.
You'll have a team to support you and the Account Director will help to shape and direct the day to day on this client. We are looking for an Account Director who can manage multiple projects. There will be times when you might work with a media partner, or publisher, and you'll be activating work inside the retail stores / shopping centres, and we'll need a solid Account Director who can bring this to life. Or, there will be time when you'll work on creating national advertising and integrated work that runs above the line, and in OOH / press. We need an Account Director who is super adaptable, can lead by examples and get projects out of the door.
You have to be unflappable as an Account Director, you're working on retail clients and you'll need excellent attention to detail, you'll need to be an Account Director who is process driven. The Account Director and Business Director will work with other people throughout the agency, and also other partner agencies / suppliers and media owners. You have to be the Account Director that creates calm and composure, and you'll be highly organised.
It's a relatively new piece of business, but more importantly it's a brand that wants change in their processes and how they make their comms work. Therefore we need an Account Director who wants to put their stamp on something and genuinely help to shape and direct this business.
You'll be an ambitious and driven Account Director, someone who wants to make their mark at an agency and someone who wants to lead and direct their own projects. The agency's eyes will be on this piece of business, and they're looking to change the fortunes of this brand and they're looking for an Account Director who can step up and direct this business.
