This top independent creative agency is looking to bolster their already growing team and bring on board a Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director. They have some great clients across, technology, retail, fashion, drinks, lifestyle, large corporate global powerhouse brands and many more. 

The team is full of brilliant client servicing, planners and creatives, and they're looking to bring on board a senior leader who is an expert Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director. 

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director must be client facing, someone who can direct and lead clients, can work with comms planners and a range of creatives to deliver the content strategy for the agency's leading brands. 

The agency wants a Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director who can really help develop their clients social presence.

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will act as the key conduit between the agency core team team and key stakeholders across clients. You’ll use data and editorial insight to help drive key decision-making around how the agency's clients live and breathe across all social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat, and more business related platforms like Linked IN. The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director must have a view point, be a real expert in these platforms and you'll understand how brands need to navigate across social to deliver effective work that stands out, and creates profitable results. 

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will work closely with Producers, Analysts and Data, Social teams and creatives to craft publishing and content strategies that define, elevate and consistently innovate their client's business across social. As a Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director you'll be able to conceptualise and then articulate bold and cohesive social strategies, and get a kick from thinking over doing.

From using platform-specific insight to help super-serve existing audiences and identifying opportunities to nurture and develop new ones, through to the creation of digital and advising on branded content opportunities, you’ll be able to advise on what clients should and shouldn’t do to ensure their content is consumed by the biggest and most engaged audiences possible. We want a Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director who has a real passion for this space and can bring clients, and internal teams, on an inspiring social journey. 

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing data and editorially-led strategies for our clients, across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat – from the volume of content to produce, through to what platforms it should appear on and why, you’ll be the bastion of social knowledge for the business.

You will work closely with third party production and social publishing teams to devise and sign-off strategies in line with our client's marketing and business objectives.  

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will be constructing comprehensive plans that analyse budgets, discern when and where to deploy embedded producers within productions, define organic distribution via brand social channels/communities (inc. working with talent and influencers), consider third-party digital distribution (aggregator sites, editorial partners etc), and flag whether there’s need for strategic paid support. We need a Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director who understands this space and can talk with absolute confidence and direct our clients. 

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will be responsible for crafting clear, strategic briefs for the team and clients. The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will serve as the most senior social representative at cross-departmental kick-off meetings, responsible for convincing stakeholders on strategic rationale behind distribution platforms and content focuses.

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will be ahead of the curve when it comes to social media trends, platforms/products/tools and content innovation, and adept at working with analysts and publishing teams to assess the landscape, perform competitor analysis, utilise social listening tools, and ensure our accounts are always one step ahead of the competition.

The Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director will be responsible for agreeing and communicating social best practice across the business.

As a Senior Content Strategist / Content Strategy Director you'll have a lot of autonomy in this agency, so we are looking for a grown up, someone who is motivated and highly driven and ambitious.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent experience of using insights (both data-driven and editorial) to affect content and revenue success across social platforms. Demonstrate excellent experience in utilising social measurement, reporting and competitor analysis tools to identify and super-serve audiences (preferably for organic and paid campaigns). Demonstrate multiple times you have convinced key and senior stakeholders to embrace content innovation, adapt content/publishing strategies, and seen tangible success as a result.
