Marketing and Communications Manager - Up to £36,000 - 6 months contract minimum - London

This growing charity are responsible for supporting kinship carer programmes UK-wide, crucial during the covid 19 pandemic months to come.

This pivotal and fast paced role, the Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for promoting a vital new package of measures freely available for carers as part of a government funded Covid 10 Response Programme.

Working with the wider internal team and external stakeholders, the role will involve
- developing a communications plan from Facebook to regionally targeted e-news
- producing co-branded promotional materials across all media channels
- collaborating and developing key partnerships to promote the service
- sourcing and writing case studies
- promoting via social media and e-marketing activities
- evaluating responses, reporting on progress, adapting and improving to maximise reach and drive engagement

To apply for this important Marketing and Communications role you will need to have plenty of initiative, be solutions driven, adaptable, positive and able to work as a team and with autonomy equally well.

Your experience must include:

- managing marketing communications campaigns for a charity
- evidence of achieving positive coverage in regional media, both proactive and reactive, writing press releases,managing journalists finding and briefing spokespeople and beneficiary case studies.
- managing social media channels, including setting up and managing Facebook groups - posting and responding in line with organisational guidelines.
- creating branded promotional and informational materials, EG, posters, leaflets, fact sheets in line with organisational branding and messaging
- writing and sending E-newsletters, setting up and managing Facebook ad campaigns
- competency using a design platform such as Canva, Indesign or similar

Finally you MUST show that have exceptional communications skills, high attention to detail and brilliant organisational skills.
