THE ROLE
Reporting to one of the Directors, the Content Manager will be responsible for all content creation, revision, and retention across all digital platforms. You will be actively encouraged and expected to collaborate with co-workers to identify stories/themes/thought leadership pieces, keeping the target audience in mind at all times.
The Content Manager will also:
- Formulate a workable content roadmap and organize the editorial calendar.
- Ensure content meets company needs and follows in-house style guides.
- Organise, modify and update existing content.
- Proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax across all content.
- Brainstorm with wider team members to develop new ideas for content.
- Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
- Build following on Social Media.
The company recruits for senior roles , in the technology sector so the most suitable candidates will have experience writing for the sector or have a passion for all things tech.
YOU
To be considered for this brand new Content Manager opportunity, we are looking for candidates with:
- 3/4 years experience of quality content writing.
- An excellent command of the English language.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- An appreciation for and recognition of quality content and well targeted - must be relevant to the audience it is targeting.
- Ability to multitask and take on multiple assignments.
- A team player - the Content Manager will work closely with all members of the company, at all levels.
- Proficient in desktop publishing, Microsoft Office and Social Media platforms.
- Experience of Wordpress would be a major plus and knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword selection.
