Account Director, top creative agency in Manchester. Football fan!

Our client is a leading creative agency in Manchester. Long established, they have an enviable client roster and outstanding creative output for leading brands. We're currently looking for an Account Director who has extensive strategic ability gained with leading agencies. You will head up a team working on a global sports brand and we are looking for someone who is a heavy-weight strategically and who has credibility and gravitas working with senior level clients. It's essential that you come from a client services background rather than brand planning as you'll need to manage the campaign development off the back of the strategy. Due to the nature of the client, we are initially looking for candidates who fit the above criteria and you'll also need to be a football fan! You must have a pedigree agency background and be used to leading big accounts. Through the line experience is required and the ability to turn ideas and concepts into workable campaigns. Leadership skills are essential as is the ability to hold a room with authority. This is a fabulous role with an agency who have had a terrific 2020 in spite of the pandemic.
