As an Account Director, you will already have a fair idea what you're looking for from your next agency. For many, we would hope that includes joining a business with a truly collaborative culture where everybody has a voice.
You may also want a tightknit team that produces highly creative work backed by sharp thinking whilst the chance to work on premium consumer brands hopefully appeals.
Speaking of accounts, this Account Director will be working with clients who have appointed the agency because they trust the expertise of the team. Your clients will expect you to bring ideas to the table and to provide alternative solutions where appropriate.
Although our London-based client is recognised as a specialist in packaging design and visual identity, they have also shown their capabilities across a wider design mix so the successful Account Director will gain experience of digital and comms projects.
Plus you will be learning from some of the design industry's brightest minds and supported by a talented account handling team.
Who would be best suited?
Put simply, this role needs a proven Account Director who has worked extensively in consumer packaging and brand identity. This should mean that you have nurtured relationships with clients at all levels and in doing so have developed your accounts.
In addition, you will have mentored a team to ensure that they have become the best version s of account handlers that they can.
You will be financially astute and strategically savvy as well as having your finger on the pulse of trends in the industry.
