New Business Executive / New Business Manager

We are working with a food and tech start up business who have been trading for 10 months, and are growing at pace. 

Started in the first lockdown back in March, they've achieved a great deal in such a short space of time - raising money for huge charities who were struggling, partnering with some huge brands, created a huge amount of publicity and PR, and worked with some huge talent! It's a huge success story and they are growing at pace.

They've recently tested their commercial model, which focuses around selling cooking experiences direct to corporate teams and businesses and the feedback was been excellent. It's time to grow this part of the business and they're looking to bring on board a New Business Executive / New Business Manager who can help lead and grow this part of the business. 

They have created cooking experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes - management consultancies, commercial property businesses, executive management teams, tech companies, student properties and creative agencies. The model works, and the experience for businesses works! The feedback from everyone includes things like "it brought our teams together," "it was so much fun and we learnt a lot" and "it was just what we all needed." 

This is a very easy sell, and we want a New Business Executive / New Business Manager who is hungry, driven and wants to succeed. 

The business has been started by some impressive leaders from a variety of backgrounds - tech, marketing, recruitment, creative, hospitality, PR, production and social. There's a great team in place, all senior leaders, and they're looking for a New Business Executive / New Business Manager to come in and join the business. 

The role will start off as freelance, could be full time or part-time - everyone is treated like a grown up here and you won't be micro managed. But we do want commitment, and you have to be result orientated and want to succeed. 

You will be a New Business Executive / New Business Manager who is super comfortable on the phones, you can present opportunities to businesses and leaders. Your target market is all businesses with teams who are looking for team building experiences through cooking, or even corporate hospitality. We've trialled this out with a range of businesses and this works, and you'll sell our cooking experiences direct to companies. 

We have a chef network who create bespoke cooking experiences for businesses, they deliver box ingredients and drinks, and the chef and team create an experience for everyone to enjoy. It works, and the New Business Executive / New Business Manager will sell in opportunities and create a pipeline for this business. 

We are looking for a New Business Executive / New Business Manager who has a real passion for food, you will be someone who loved going out and dining, when we were allowed, and you'll have a passion for entertaining. This is not essential, but it all helps, and if you like cooking then even better! 

The New Business Executive / New Business Manager can choose their own hours and work part time if need be, but you have to deliver. We have all of the tools available to make this role successful for any New Business Executive / New Business Manager - great sales collateral, a new website which will be live in a few weeks, fantastic case studies, references and credentials, and we'll buy sales lists for you to target. The New Business Executive / New Business Manager will have all the tools required to make this role a success and we'll back you, and listen. 

We need a New Business Executive / New Business Manager who has a lot of drive, someone who wants to earn a good salary and be part of something, and someone who wants to succeed. At the moment the role will start off as a freelancer, so we can test the water and business model, but we are hoping to covert to permanent within 3 - 6 months.  If this works, which the team think it will, they will hire more New Business Executive / New Business Manager people to grow. 

This is a crucial role, and we are looking for a very particular New Business Executive / New Business Manager, someone who has drive and energy, can sell and sell very well, and someone who wants to work in a start up that is going places. Love and passion for food and drink is a huge plus!
