Community Manager / Senior Community Manager - up to £55k
We are looking for a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager to work at a tech start up who are building a breakthrough blockchain protocol. It will be the world’s most decentralised and secure network in existence, by running in full on mobile phones. We are looking for a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager who has a real interest and passion in this space, wants to lead and direct community in the crypto currency space, and you'll be a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager who has an understanding of tech and how to build communities in this space.
Bitcoin was created before the age of the smartphone. Today's phones have 100,000 times the processing power of the computer that landed man on the moon. Cumulatively they represent the world's most powerful computer. Our tech start up client has been designed to harnesses these devices to secure its blockchain.
The business has raised $2.5m via Friends & Family and a well respected crypto VCs.
With these funds they will look to strengthen their team, and they are keen to bring on board a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager.
We are looking for an experienced Community Manager / Senior Community Manager to help build a vibrant network of people who are passionate about the company's mission and committed to helping them achieve it.
The Community Manager / Senior Community Manager This will engage both active developers/crypto-natives who are invested in the brand's ethos, and want to help bug-test their protocol and get involved with their platform, as well as passive members who want to support their journey through promoting their message.
We want the Community Manager / Senior Community Manager to be the most active and dynamic proponent of the business, promoting their narrative and driving their community growth.
This includes managing multiple engagement channels, building up their social media following - we're looking for a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager who really understands this world and wants to help lead in this space.
The Community Manager / Senior Community Manager will coordinate, engage, inspire & inform their community members. You will be responsible for growing and supporting their community base globally, and the Community Manager / Senior Community Manager will manage their Ambassador network worldwide.
The Community Manager / Senior Community Manager will be in charge of updating & enforcing their community guidelines, shaping their community culture and generating community content, to grow both the passive and active community base.
You will manage their Community channels – Discord, Telegram, Twitter and their website and blog to make sure they are maximising engagement, growing the community and creating, curating & sharing consistently powerful & relevant content.
The Community Manager / Senior Community Manager will be working with the Marketing Manager to drive community expansion and build awareness.
You will be a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager with previous community management 4+ years experience. Ideally with previous team management experience, you will have the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a wide range of audiences.
We are looking for a Community Manager / Senior Community Manager who can work autonomously, you'll have good organization skills and the ability to handle pressure.
You will be a flexible thinker who is able to adapt and thrive in a constantly evolving environment, with knowledge of the blockchain and crypto sectors, ideally with previous experience in managing communities.
The Community Manager / Senior Community Manager will have experience in social media management across a wide range of channels, familiarity with the startup environment and the requisite work ethic.The role is paying anything from £40k - £55k p/a and it's a pure remote working role. You can be based anywhere in the world, but bear in mind you'll work on UK time zones.
