Marylebone, London W1W - currently working remotely during Covid-19 restrictions

If you are an excellent communicator with experience in developing digital content, and an interest in how architecture shapes our lives, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Architects play a crucial role in our society. They design the buildings and environments where we live and work. Established in 1997, our client is the professional regulator of architects. They maintain a Register to protect the public, so that anyone using an architect’s services, or a building designed by an architect, can be reassured that the design has been developed by an appropriate expert.

The new Digital Communications Officer will develop, monitor and improve digital products including the organisation’s website, stakeholder emails and their social media presence. You will be familiar with data and monitoring tools (such as Google Analytics) and will use them to develop an understanding of the organisation’s audiences and tailor their digital content to them. You will be an excellent copywriter, able to develop written content for a range of products such as the website, reports and stakeholder emails.

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Communications, you will join a close-knit team that is helping to improve how the organisation engages with the architectural profession and a wide range of audiences. You will be confident collaborating with different teams and working with senior leaders. You will be a creative thinker who can translate ideas into content and who understands the importance of good design in communications materials, particularly for an architectural audience.

In return, our client offers 27 days’ holiday per year, generous pension arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package. This post is based in their central London office, however they support flexible working and will be reviewing their office working arrangements, post Covid-19 in due course.

The closing date for completed applications is 11:00am Wednesday 17 March 2021, and no applications will be accepted once this deadline has expired.

Interviews will take place during week commencing 29 March 2021. Depending on government restrictions, this will either be at the organisation’s offices in central London or remotely, via video link.
