Communications Strategist (Sustainability) – Perm or temp-to-perm – to £75k
Fast-growing strategic and creative agency specialising in climate, environment and sustainability seeks smart comms strategist with knowledge of the climate community.
This role is exclusive to Fill Recruitment - you won’t find it advertised anywhere else.
The agency
Based in brand new offices in a buzzing part of Central London, this rapidly growing strategic and creative agency is the green arm of an impressive global marketing group.
Its 10-strong team of specialists produces creative campaigns, comms and strategies for NGOs and commercial businesses within the sphere of climate, environment and sustainability.
The agency is supporting some huge names in the climate community plus brands from all sectors embracing the transition to a net-zero economy. Developing and delivering compelling ideas, assets, content and campaigns across all touchpoints, they work on fascinating projects not only at home but in the USA and Asia.
The Strategist role
The team is looking for a talented communications strategist to help brands, businesses and climate NGOs define and activate comms strategies and campaigns that can accelerate change towards a better, more resilient and more sustainable future.
Working into one of the partners, you will be taking on a considerable slice of the agency’s NGO comms strategy work.
Equally adept at talking, listening and writing, you should be able to define and articulate messaging, narratives and comms planning and know just how to target niche audiences.
Ideally you have gained experience within the sustainability and environmental practice of a PR or comms agency and have solid knowledge of the climate community. Familiarity with nature-based solutions would also be a bonus.
This is initially a three- to six-month freelance post, with the right candidate joining the team on a permanent basis. Straight-to-perm candidates will also be considered.
Salary / day rate
Depending on experience. £300-£400 per day and then a permanent salary of £55k-£75k.
To be considered for this role, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Whilst every effort is made to contact all candidates, due to a high number of applications we are unable to give individual feedback to those who are unsuccessful.
