We are recruiting for a Brand Planner to join the organisation’s newly created Brand and Digital Engagement Unit, which is responsible for delivering the brand and digital engagement strategy, setting the direction for public engagement across the organisation and working with fundraisers to tell a powerful, consistent brand story. Working with specialist digital, content, and marketing colleagues in the Unit, as well as staff across the organisation, the Brand Planner will support the delivery of our key business goals and communications priorities across brand building, influencing and fundraising.
You will be responsible for providing expert brand leadership to teams across the organisation, helping Plan International UK understand and articulate its unique brand proposition, values and core messages, and the audiences we need to reach to achieve impact.
You will manage cross-organisational communications planning, developing effective processes to review, plan and prioritise activities, events and messages from across the organisation to create integrated communications calendars and messaging frameworks, and manage insight-led integrated marketing strategies that reach and engage our target audiences.
We are looking for an experienced brand strategist with proven success in planning and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, stewarding high profile brands and implementing brand planning processes. You will also have the following:
- Experience of planning and implementing brand strategies
- Knowledge of brand and communications planning processes
- Significant experience of using data and insights to inform brand planning, and knowledge of a range of reporting and measurement tools
- Experience of working with a matrix of channel specialists to coordinate and align outputs
- Excellent knowledge of audience research, analysis and segmentation tools and processes
- Exceptional inter-personal and consultative skills
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders with a proven ability to work collaboratively to influence, negotiate and secure buy-in
