I am working with an amazing communications agency that creates purpose-driven education and behaviour change programmes. Each award winning integrated campaign reaches, engages and inspires young people, families, communities, employees and customers.
They work with many well-known corporate clients as well as charities and education clients.
The team has a great culture, you will be rewarded and be able to get involved in high profile projects. Oh and there’s weekly fruit and fortnightly breakfasts!
The account manager drives the delivery of each education campaign and project. Working closely with account directors and the senior management team you’ll also help with the strategic development of client accounts.
Excellent time management skills are a given, as is the ability to juggle multiple projects and take an increasingly central role in the new business process, drafting elements of proposals and participating in pitches.
The role requires a solutions-focused approach to challenges, an ability to manage up and down, critical and analytical thinking, as well as someone who consistently looks to demonstrate added value.
Acting as the day to day contact with clients, providing regular counsel and leading calls without senior team
Building and maintaining timelines to ensure smooth running of projects, while consistently spotting opportunities to streamline processes and add value to the team
Monitoring project budgets and timesheets, with an awareness and understanding of account profitably
Taking the lead in writing content for proposals, presently confidently at new business pitches
Regularly attending industry networking events while contributing to agency marketing plan
