This is a leading integrated agency, one of the best in the business, and they've hired very well over the last 2 years. Their client base is growing at pace, and they're bringing in more and more talent to help service these brands. They are now looking for a CX Strategy Director to come in and help lead across some key clients and also new business pitches.
The CX Strategy Director will work in the agency's customer experience division, a team of around 100 people who work across strategy and data, UX, design and motion, technology and engineering, content, comms, project and account management. As an agency they design and engineer experiences for brands that live across digital and innovation.

The CX Strategy Director must have drive, ambition and a real focus on making stand out creative / digital work that is effective and makes a positive impact on a brand.
We’re looking for a CX Strategy Director with a rare combination of talent, presence, intelligence and the ability to inspire C-suite execs (client and agency-side) with a clear and compelling articulation of the amazing opportunities presented by CX design and engineering.
As an evangelist for design thinking, the CX Strategy Director will set the vision and help to build the case for digital experiences, demonstrating their potential to transform brands and businesses at every stage of the customer journey.
Reporting to the CXO, this role requires outstanding narrative communications skills backed up by a robust and practical knowledge of how to make digital products and services work, from initial concept to global rollout. The CX Strategy Director will have the chance to work with some brilliant clients and talent within this agency.
As CX Strategy Director you will be responsible for delivering strategic thinking to clients and leading the line for CX on pitches and business development.
You will work alongside colleagues in strategy and planning within the department and across the wider agency, whilst also being an inspiring and collaborative partner to the UX and UI Design teams. At the same time you will build and grow strong relationships with account and project management leads.
The successful candidate will be able to join the dots, both in the CX ecosystem - encompassing online, offline and customer engagement - and in the minds of senior clients who want a clear understanding of where to invest and how to grow. We are looking for a CX Strategy Director who can lead clients with calmness and clarity.
The CX Strategy Director will naturally understand the role that customer data plays in the omnichannel customer journey, whilst also being able to explain how mar-tech is increasingly automating and orchestrating the customer experience along the way.
We are looking for a CX Strategy Director who is a team player but also have the necessary flair, drive and vision to lead new business and business development with senior clients and colleagues, being both an independent thinker and a great collaborator.
In particular, the CX Strategy Director will be able to translate the complexity of the CX world into simple, meaningful and inspiring strategies that clients will want to buy. This skill will make you invaluable to clients and execs across the agency as a whole.
