Our London Bridge based client is for a talented Account Executive with a minimum of 12mths PR Agency experience to join their team.  Our client knows interior design inside out. Specialising in design, interiors, lifestyle and architectural sectors, their talented team is always on call to find the most effective ways of making your message stand out.

Account Executives are the mainstay of the press office, providing the fundamental elements of the PR programme. Attention to detail and a consistently high quality of work are essential for this role and the right candidate combine enthusiasm for client projects with a practical sense of systems and administration. 

Key client responsibilities

  • Liaise daily with clients and media to progress on-going activities
  • Monitor and progress editorial features across all platforms
  • Write and issue press releases; write copy for client in-house magazines; feature material for trade and consumer press as required
  • Process client merchandise/image requests and relevant follow up
  • Conduct individual visits to journalists and stylists to show samples and imagery; monthly ring-round to consumer media
  • Compile (or oversee Junior Account Executive if appropriate) Editorials published, Forthcoming Editorials and monthly reports before signing off with a director.
  • Prepare agendas for client meetings and email in advance
  • Attend client meetings and write minutes; distribute within 48 hours
  • Contribute to creative planning on client campaigns
  • Assist in researching, planning and writing of client annual PR proposals
  • Research and progress competitions and giveaways for clients
  • Assist in researching, planning and writing of client annual PR proposals
  • Help plan and attend press events
  • Assist in planning/attending photo shoots, when applicable
  • Participate in client budget management, with Account Director
  • Assist in the preparation of annual review of PR activity for each client
  • Make travel arrangements for meetings when necessary

Wider company responsibilities

  • Participate in new business activity – research and brainstorms
  • Maintain and keep up to date your clients’ brand collateral (brochures, samples etc); image libraries; client contact details
  • Ensure your client expenses job bags are updated every month
  • Individual admin duties including filing, media database, maintaining venue/suppliers’ files etc
  • Support our clients social media activity as required

Requirements
