We have a great opportunity for a Marketing Director to join the team to take full responsibility of all marketing, communication and product/service development activity.

Reporting into the CEO, you will play a pivotal role, working closely with the leadership team, to develop and execute a marketing strategy that you will be instrumental in developing.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small fast-growing team and demonstrate the potential to grow in line with the business potential. Whilst the role will be predominantly UK-based, there will be occasional international travel required.

The Role

You will play an important role in the management of our brand, our targeting strategies and building a clear and demonstrable differentiation strategy for our business. You will be able to articulate and activate a clear value-selling approach to the market through thorough market analysis and opportunity understanding.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with our CEO, CTO and Sales Director to –

  • Build a marketing plan that demonstrates a clear aggressive growth strategy
  • Analyse and identify market opportunities, positioning strategies, trends and insights
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities
  • Build awareness of, and take responsibility for, the Pathfindr brand
  • Analyse and predict future client needs
  • Construct a value selling approach and pricing guidance for our sales team
  • Maximise a clear route-to-market strategy
  • Propose product/service development in service of the growth strategy
  • Drive lead creation, qualification and pipeline reporting
  • Own all external and internal communication strategies including SEO, PPC, analytics etc.
  • Stay well informed of industry movements, market trends and competitor positioning

Experience Required for the Role

  • Previous experience of working in a marketing role
  • A Marketing or related Degree
  • Understanding of and insight into IIOT B2B marketing
  • Excellent marketing skills along with a proven track record of getting results
  • The ability to develop new marketing strategies, tactics and processes
  • Experience of CRM tools
