Account Director, £45k to £55k

The agency is based outside of London, in a lovely part of the UK in Dorset. They're a growing business doing very well and they work with some huge global brands in the B2B and B2C space. They're looking for an Account Director who can lead at least 3 clients.
As an Account Director, you’ll get to know your clients’ businesses inside out, making sure our work delivers value. You’ll spot opportunities to grow the account and build client relationships, as well as nurturing and guiding a team underneath you.
The Account Director needs to be passionate, full of initiative and willing to get stuck in, used to managing a team and delivering large scale projects.
The majority of the projects are in the B2B and B2C space, and ideally we're looking for an Account Director who has worked with these sorts of projects. The role would suit an Account Director from a top London agency who is looking to move out, or someone who wants to work remotely. You will be asked to join the team at least once a month. The agency is open, you could be an Account Director who is based on the South Coast and you're happy to commute a few times a week, they're super flexible and the key thing is to find an Account Director who wants to be a part of this agency long-term.
The Account Director will run large through the line projects - bringing internal teams and other agencies together for the client's goal.
We are looking for an Account Director who will own the details of every job and be accountable for it; for your own jobs and the ones that belong to your direct reports.
The agency is very fluid in their approach, of course they have processes, but we are looking for an Account Director who can work and operate in a more agile way.
The Account Director will take responsibility for managing and reporting for your client set; including forecasting, project reconciliation and preparing quarterly account plans.
The Account Director will report into a Group Account Director, and from time to time you will step up and fill in for the Group Account Director when they need you to.
We are need an Account Director who has a very natural entrepreneurial instinct, someone who can help with new business pitches and represent the agency at key client events.
You will ideally be an Account Director with experience in B2B, tech, finance, utilities and/or FMCG.
No 2 days are the same at this agency, and we need an Account Director who is confidence and cares for what this agency does, and their clients business.
As an Account Director you will be flexible, focused and positive, especially when the pressure is on. The ability to simplify complex ideas and turn your hand to new challenges will be key for any Account Director joining this team.
You will have a love for all things digital, marketing, content and social. And have experience across them all, we need an Account Director who has worked across these channels and gets it.
You will be strategic in your approach, with an eye for small details and great design.
