Senior Account Manager / Account Director – Brand Design Agency – Central London – To £50k

Forward-thinking, boutique brand and marketing consultancy seeks talented Senior Account Manager or Account Director for two key client accounts.

The agency will also accept Senior Account Managers who are looking to step up to Account Director level.

The agency

Located in N1, this small but perfectly formed agency covers strategy and insight, client services and project management, and creative and design.

The agency sits within a larger global ‘digital design house’, a collection of award-winning creative companies. The team works hand in hand with its 100-strong head office, as well as other group offices in Budapest, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and New York City.

Since COVID, the agency has adopted a hybrid way of working offering the option of working remotely and coming together in person, as and when the work requires.

The clients

Clients range from world-famous global brands to fresh-faced start-ups wanting to change the world. The agency’s core areas of expertise are luxury hospitality, high-end residential developments and premium products and services aimed at high-net-worth individuals.

Deliverables

The agency’s projects can be grouped into three broad categories:

  • Data, insights and integrated brand strategy
  • Brand design, marketing and advertising (ATL and BTL channels, in print, digital, film, experiential)

The Senior Account Manager / Account Director required

The successful candidate will be hands-on and benefit from plenty of autonomy and on-the-job mentoring from the senior team. You will also be supported by gifted junior team members and be responsible for managing them and overseeing their professional development.

The agency is looking for an energetic self-starter who is analytical and articulate, highly organised and detail-orientated, glass-half-full, collaborative, imaginative, inspiring, confident and ambitious.

As a small team, the agency is looking for that rare blend of thinking and doing, with the ability to liaise with and provide intelligent consultancy to clients alongside managing complex projects with multiple moving parts.

As Senior Account Manager or Account Director, you will be the team’s most senior account handler, leading and managing the team, and acting as the key link between the agency and its clients.

The role is to understand clients’ goals and then work within the teams to deliver effective strategic and creative solutions.

Core responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining client relationships, often at a very senior level
  • Receiving client briefs and subsequently briefing internal, or external, agency teams
  • Selecting, briefing and managing third-party agency partners and suppliers
  • Resource and project planning
  • Monthly financial forecasting
  • Preparing and negotiating fee proposals
  • Preparing and delivering strategic and creative presentations to clients and prospects
  • Research and insight generation to inform strategies and creative solutions
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Quality control

Salary and benefits
