Acquisition Marketing Manager - The Company
My client are a London based Fintech that offers an intelligent cashflow product . Voted one of Wired's top 10 London startups back in 2018 , they are backed by heavyweight investors including Octopus Ventures, Anthemis and a host of household name Angel investors. Their machine learning-based technology predicts and optimizes future cash flows for SMEs, thus helping business owners conduct better financial decision-making. They have a fantastic opportunity for an Acquisition Marketing Manager to join their team .

Acquisition Marketing Manager - Responsibilties

Own and grow the marketing lead target for small business funding leads and deliver this through a variety of channels including: paid search, affiliate marketing, direct mail, paid social and website conversion
Work with the rest of the team to understand their proposition and messaging and translate this into effective marketing
Use your experience of SME finance to suggest where they should focus their efforts and help them to find the right product mix
Work with the Head of Marketing and the Head of Funding Sales to improve efficiency and reduce wasted spend
Work with the product and engineering team and their Content Lead to improve conversion through the top/mid funnel
Work with their Chief Data Officer to develop and execute a strategy to target the right prospects through the right channels
Test and establish new channels through which to deliver leads

Acquistion Marketing Manager - Key Skills

5+ years experience in a performance or digital marketing role (agency or in house), with experience of working across different audiences or products with varying go to market models
Experience of SME finance and understanding of why businesses might take different financial products - whether that's at a lender, a broker or a bank
Experience in paid search, social media advertising, retargeting, display (and preferably some/all of direct mail and affiliate marketing)
An understanding of how conversion rates through the funnel impact marketing performance and ideas about how to improve funnel performance
You are flexible and can adapt to changes quickly
You're confident presenting your ideas and challenging the status quo
You're agile and fast-thinking in terms of your approach
You're happy working at speed in an environment with lots of changes
You have a bias for action and get things done efficiently
