An award-winning creative content agency is looking for an ambitious, talented and highly motivated Account Manager to join their London team. Working with international brands in a variety of sectors – from finance to fashion – helping them to establish effective editorial processes and deliver exceptional content across their channels. As a result of continued growth, they are looking for someone to help us deliver the next and most ambitious chapter in their story so far.
The successful candidate will be well organised and enjoy a challenge. You will have experience delivering ambitious projects for major clients in your previous role. You are an ambitious, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is passionate about marketing communications and has the organisational skills, attention to detail, insights and energy to help our clients achieve their objectives.

Reporting to the head of planning, you will have a key role helping to inspire and lead the team in order to ensure smooth workflow and successful delivery of client projects across all channels including digital, social, video and print.

Roles & responsibilities include:
• Client management Primary client contact (reporting into head of planning), building long-term relationships that deliver value for both customers and our agency.
• Project management You’ll be the day-to-day client liaison, helping to shape their communication strategies and setting up and overseeing projects from brief through to completion.  As well as contributing your own insights and ideas, demonstrating solid judgment in response to briefs, you’ll establish ongoing processes that optimize the output from our creative resource.
• New business New business development, including networking, marketing and publicity, proposal writing and delivering pitches that effectively contribute to our agency’s growth.
• A sustainable business Strengthening our network, helping to manage supplier relationships and building our contributor network.
• An effective team As a strong leader within our business you’ll foster collaboration among the core team and wider stakeholders, help to develop teams and individuals, as well as continually improving our business including the environment we create and the processes we use.

Core duties include:
• Project management (multi-channel) – ownership of established PM processes and tools.
• Data analysis – good understanding of key tools used to assess and drive content strategy
• Self-motivated, organised and great at managing workload and deadlines. 
• Exceptional communicator, whether over the phone, on email or presenting to larger audiences.
• Good understanding of the budgeting process and clear on the levers that will improve margins
• Excellent understanding of content trends and best practice including SEO, social and content marketing.
• Passion for marketing communications.
• Keen interest in personal and professional development.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or similar) - intermediate to advanced.

Essential skills/experience:
• Relationship management - a minimum of 2 years in a role managing and growing customer accounts, ideally with experience dealing with global firms in our key sectors (finance & pharmaceutical)
• Project management (multi-channel) – an Excel power-user also familiar with other standard project management/workflow software and processes
• Data analysis – good understanding of key tools used to assess and drive content strategy, including, Google Analytics, Adobe and others as required.
• Self-motivated, organised and great at managing workload and deadlines. 
• Exceptional communicator, whether over the phone, on email or presenting to larger audiences.
• Good understanding of the budgeting process and clear on the levers that will improve margins for our business.
• Excellent understanding of content trends and best practice including SEO, social and content marketing.
• Passion for marketing communications.
• Keen interest in personal and professional development.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or similar) - intermediate to advanced.
