UX Designer - Up to £45,000 - Surrey

THE ROLE

In the role of UX Designer, you will work closely with the Campaign Delivery and Digital teams to develop creative and engaging acquisition and retention campaigns to a diverse audience.

You will work with the Campaign Delivery team to understand their requirements and translate them into UX solutions that work across various browsers and devices.

Day to day you will use your thorough understanding of UCD including information architecture, user research, navigational and responsive web design, visual design, usability and accessibility, user testing and analytics.

You will have key responsibility for creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, personas, site maps, reports, presentations and other relevant artefacts as part of the campaign development process.

You'll create user-centred solutions which deliver a seamless and intuitive experience and continually improve the UX experience.
 

YOU

To be considered for the role of UX Designer, you will need:

- Ideally you will have worked as a digital designer, UX/user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar, with experience in marketing campaigns
- A design-related degree or equivalent professional qualification or industry experience.
- Great conceptual skills and the ability to communicate ideas with stakeholders through sketches, wireframes or interactive prototypes (Figma, UXpin or Balsmiq)
- Sound understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript, ability to hand code HTML and CSS when communicating ideas with developers or editing code when communicating
- Excellent typography and layout skills Excellent organisation, multitasking and planning skills
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with good visibility and approachability Worked across a range of digital platforms including web, mobile and e-commerce Significant experience of designing responsive websites
- Experience in delivering products to a design brief, within tight deadlines
- Experience in maintaining corporate visual identity
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams
- A strong understanding of WAI guidelines and W3C standards and their impact on web design
- A solid knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite A good understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-channel and cross device (desktop/tablet/mobile) design and coding considerations
- A good understanding of the principles of CMS templates, layouts and workflow.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE GUILDFORD AREA 2 DAYS PER WEEK AND HAVE VALID WORKING RIGHTS FOR THE UK
