Content Lead, Central London - Up to £60K dependent on experience

This online tech business are accelerating their growth plans after securing multi-million pound funding. This tech business are currently one of Europe’s biggest names. They work across Germany, France, UK and Ireland. The now want a Content Lead.

Having recently secured a further round of funding they’re accelerating their growth plans. They’re building out their dedicated team of smart, curious people.

This team produces informative, trustworthy, and engaging medical content for a range of formats (website, UX copy, newsletters, social, PPC ads, print flyers). This Content Lead will manage a team of four content professionals from executive to senior level, and be supported by the Head of Content.

This Content Lead will be full of new ideas - breaking new ground all the time, which means there’s no tried and tested way yet. This Content Lead will push the boundaries, try new things and take responsibility for big ideas.

This Content Lead will take ownership of content quality for the UK market, working with the team to ensure the highest standards are set and maintained. You’ll establish the brand personality and tone across the website and in all marketing efforts in the UK, supported by the Head of Content.

This Content Lead will need to:

-    Be naturally passionate about content that resonates with new and existing audiences
-    Be experienced in making complex topics easy to understand, using plain English and accessibility best-practices
-    Have at least 8 years’ experience in content creation and management, at least 3 years of which in a senior role, managing and developing a team of content writers, editors, or copywriters
-    Have experience in working with UX design teams on creating intuitive and accessible user journeys
-    Ideally have experience in creating content pages that rank highly in SERP through SEO improvements
-    Have previously held full ownership over content quality and strategy delivery for a specific market, project, or business objective
-    Have experience in using analytics tools and making data-driven decisions, for example for conversion rate optimisation
