Marketing Manager/Senior Account Manager

About the IPA

The IPA exists to help our members be the best they can be. And we do this in a number of ways. We have an unprecedented pool of knowledge they can draw on. We voice their concerns, showcase their work and continuously develop their skills to keep them at the top of their game. We are the power behind the practitioners.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager/Senior Account Manager to join our Marketing team to work with many of our 300 member agencies. You’ll help run a number of programmes alongside the Associate Director, that focus around 3 key areas Talent – how to attract and retain the best talent, Commercial – how to do business better and Effectiveness how we deliver value. 

Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for IPA Groups made up of senior agency personnel
  • Coordinate the running of a major IPA programme – Advertising Unlocked – that brings schools and agencies together
  • Manage production of online and offline collateral to support group initiatives
  • Help with production of content for key annual industry event – The IPA Business Growth conference
  • Run quarterly meetings for IPA Groups and coordinate all outputs
  • Attending external events

About you

  • Excellent relationship management skills; ability to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Ability to deal with people at all levels from senior agency heads to young start ups
  • Good sense of humour; outgoing, team player
  • Flexibility and calmness under pressure
  • Can-do attitude
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • Collaborative and sociable, as the role requires liaising across various IPA departments (especially the web, PR, comms, events, PD and insight teams)
