We are looking for an exceptional Associate Director to join the team for a 6-12 month period to cover during a maternity leave. You will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience working in a comms agency. The right candidate will have PR and Digital experience, be able to drive revenue into the business and respond to new business enquiries as well as act as a sounding board to our senior team. Full Fat is a creative communications agency, working with an exciting roster of clients spanning restaurants & bars, f&b brands, festivals, events and venues, lifestyle and disruptor brands. The agency is made up of a superstar team who are connected by a passion for culture, creativity and communications.


The Associate Director role will provide insight and advice to our senior team including Account Directors on client crisis’ and strategies, as well as a support to the Partner on operations and day to day business decisions. 

They will be helping to drive the agency’s contacts and networks delivering inbound new business and helping support the pipeline projections. They will be responsible for ensuring a continued training plan for the team, upskilling where required and provide suggested solutions to potential challenges. They must have brand experience ideally within F&B as well as a passion for culture, and feel confident jumping in to support the senior team with campaign obstacles, pinpoint upselling opportunities and increasing performance and results. 

The right candidate will be able to develop relationships with clients and team easily and provide counsel, always having their best interests front of mind and be a great listener. They will be a confident leader who leads by example, can manage the team effectively and ensure consistently strong results across multiple campaigns and verticals. They must be a collaborative team player. 


  • Senior advice and sounding board for the Partner across all day to day aspects of the business 

  • Support the Account Directors across a number of key accounts acting as a sounding board on effective campaign delivery and problem-solving

  • Be able to seamlessly deliver campaign strategies where required

  • Create, manage and or oversee a budget

  • Be adept at client crisis management 

  • Show great foresight whether across the team and any obstacles or a client

  • Be a good new business driver with a proven track record 

  • Respond to new business briefs, effectively mobilising the team to deliver creative and innovative proposals

  • Host effective new business brainstorms

  • Be able to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Work with and support a passionate and ambitious team

  • Support with line management of some team members

  • Share knowledge and train other members of the team at a high standard

  • High level of brand knowledge across the marketing mix 

  • Both digital and traditional media experience 

  • Social Media understanding including SEO, paid and strategy needed 

  • Extremely confident in a presentation environment both virtually and in-person 

  • Ability to foresee potential challenges and provide effective solutions  

  • Exceptional approach to Diversity, Equality and Inclusion 

  • Support on the delivery of Full Fat+, the company’s internal culture programme

  • We are open to discussing a part-time 4-day role 

  • We run flexible working across the agency
