Our client is a global lifestyle brand who create premium, high-performance home products. They currently have a new and exciting position within their marketing team for a PR & Communication Executive. This role will support the business by ensuring PR & Social Media strategy is created and adhered to. This position offers flexi remote with 2/3 days in their offices and 2/3 working from home days. Offices are located in Berkshire only 15 min walk from station.

  • Be the main point of contact and representative for all PR communications
  • Manage external PR Agencies for press announcements
  • Attend weekly calls and monthly meetings to understand requirements
  • Create and provide reports on PR tasks
  • Project lead any PR events or product launch events, ensuring the correct support is drawn from other team members following approval
  • To look after PR budget with support from Customer Marketing Manager
  • Project and forecast strategy plans
  • Prepare, create, and finalise any newsletter content ready to be sent to our customers
  • Maintain relations with existing influencers and PR Agencies whilst reaching out to new influencers and Agencies
  • Complete contracts and negotiations with influencers and PR Agencies

Social Media

  • Develop content and calendar for Customer Social Media channels
  • Manage Social Media agency day to day
  • Provide the Social Media agency with all information, materials and content that is needed to support the Marketing calendar
  • Raise brand awareness, sales and recruitment through the main channels, Facebook, Instagram & Twitter whilst supporting Customer Marketing Manager with their strategy
  • Work towards opening channels of Pinterest & Linkedin supporting the correct channels
  • Work towards a library of content assets for that includes: Products, recipes, campaign's, recruitment, promotions, retail


  • 2-3 yrs' experience within Marketing and PR (or equivalent in experience if not degree educated)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative suite, including but not limited to InDesign, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro
  • Experience in B2C luxury retail sales
  • Previous experience in copywriting
  • Managing and coordinating campaigns and projects
  • Agency management as a client is required
  • Agency/supplier experience
  • Experience writing effective press releases
  • Background and experience in contract negotiations
  • Experience in managing a budget
  • Community, social media, and project management experience
  • Knowledge and history of creative content creation
  • A full understanding of relevant trends
  • Have a hands-on approach to events, photography etc.
  • Experience in working in a corporate environment
