Our client, a respected mid-sized creative agency based in the heart of London, is part of a small, independent network. They have some fantastic, highly aspirational, digital-first, global clients across sectors such as automotive, alcohol and lifestyle. They are looking for an experienced Social & Digital Strategist to deliver strategy leading to communications across earned, owned and paid channels, both globally and regionally. You would be joining a team of modern strategists, working closely with specialists in brand, data, paid media, social, PR and technology, helping to join the dots between them all.

This Senior Social & Digital Strategist should have an excellent understanding, not just of digital and social channels, but of how they fit into broader communications, experiences and cultures; and crucially, how you can build brands within them. 

Senior Social & Digital Strategist - Responsibilities:

  • Delivering digital & social media strategy, both globally and regionally, across the agency’s clients
  • Working very closely with creative teams throughout the creative development process  
  • Supporting Senior Management on new business opportunities. 
  • Championing relevant industry and cultural trends in the agency and feeding them into the work. 
  • Helping train account management in strategy.

Senior Social & Digital Strategist - Requirements:

  • At least 4 – 5 years’ experience in a strategy role, including time as the lead strategist on an account and experience managing and nuturing others
  • Detailed knowledge of both social media platforms and digital channels  
  • Detailed knowledge of leveraging data in positive campaign targeting 
  • Deep knowledge of how earned, owned and paid channels can work in perfect harmony to build brands
  • Experience of writing conceptual and adaptation creative briefs, across a range of projects 
  • Ability to think both globally and regionally 
  • Naturally creative with an excellent understanding of culture and how brands can shape it
