The Role:

As our first UK based PR & Communications Manager will be building on a technology business growth story in one of the fastest growing cloud disruptors, working closely with our mission-led senior leadership team located in our Bristol and Farnborough offices.

In this role you’ll be hunting down and generating opportunities to place the brand at the heart of newsworthy stories investors, partners and competitors can’t help but follow as we expand in the UK and across Europe.

With early, award-winning success such as Employer of the Year at the Women in IT UK Awards, Innovative Distributor at the CompTIA UK Awards and Best New Business Solution at the 2021 European IT & Software Excellence Awards, you’ll be working alongside media and communications professionals with strong track records in Denver, USA who already have the blueprint for success.

Your day to day includes:

+ Building brand awareness through storytelling and executing meaningful PR campaigns that propel the business identity forward
+ Managing the relationship with our UK based PR firm, cultivating strong UK media relationships in the business technology space
+ Positioning our enthusiastic executive team as thought leaders in the industry by getting coverage in IT publications
+ Managing complex and unexpected communication opportunities, drafting press releases, producing case studies, and developing executive briefing materials
+ Supporting the strategic social media plans Building UK media training program
+ Collaborating with your Denver, USA based colleagues on ideas and localisation activities

You'll be ideal for us if you:

+ Have a least 5 years professional experience in a PR & Communications role
+ Are a well-connected B2B communications professional passionate about technology and emerging digital trends
+ Are “plugged into” all the right technology channels (CRN, TechCrunch, Bloomberg etc)
+ Have experience overseeing, creating and releasing publications for the press
+ Are able to build trust with leadership teams to position thought leadership pieces
+ Have flexibility to collaborate in cross border time zones with either Europe and/or the USA
+ Ideally located to get into the Bristol Office regularly, but able to travel to Farnborough/London

+ Basic Salary £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on international exposure)
