Many of our clients are sector leaders on sustainability and supply chain issues and we are proud of our reputation for leading the thinking in this area. In summary, we:
+ Run the award-winning Supply Chain Sustainability School, including the industry-leading Fairness, Inclusion & Respect (FIR) programme.
+ Support our clients to use our Sustainability Tool to report their progress on sustainability actions,
+ Led the authoring of the ISO 20400 in sustainable procurement and are now leading global adoption through our social enterprise arm, and our commercial consultancy services.
+ Provide bespoke, specialist business advice, training, and practical tools to leading organisations such as Siemens, the Houses of Parliament, Warwick University, the NHS and British Land.
The Digital Marketing Executive Role:
The Marketing department sits at the heart of the business, providing marketing tools, best practice and expertise for the three areas: Supply Chain Sustainability School, Action Sustainability consultancy and Sustainability Tool.
You’ll be a key part of a small team executing an ambitious company vision to positively impact three times the number of businesses, by doubling in size in just 3 years. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Executive and the Partner Relations team, you’ll be exploring new opportunities to engage our members and clients to drive positive sustainable change.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Managing email marketing communications across the business (i.e. newsletters/campaigns/solus emails)
+ Managing the social media strategy (organic and paid) for the three parts of the business – including managing the social media calendar across multiple platforms (ensuring successful cross-promotion of products) and planning various engaging and impactful integrated social media content campaigns.
+ Supporting the Marketing Team with driving marketing automation activity (using platform Force24) to increase member/client acquisition and engagement.
+ Working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Sustainability School Operations Team to increase event registrations, e-learning and resource views through digital marketing activity.
+ Supporting with the development of campaign content elements for B2B campaigns to generate growth and thought leadership positioning.
+ Developing and updating website content, where necessary.
+ Identifying user behaviour; advising and developing strategies to improve effectiveness of digital marketing activities using various analytical tools such as Google Analytics.
+ Designing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on digital marketing initiatives across all digital platforms.
Our Ideal Candidate:
+ Degree qualified in marketing/communications or relevant field, or qualified by experience
+ Strong ability to optimise social media channels and experience using software such as Hootsuite
+ Experience of marketing automation (previous experience with Force24 platform is not a necessity), email marketing and database management
+ Knowledge of GDPR
+ Strong copywriting skills
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
+ Excellent knowledge of Content Management Systems, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office, plus ability to manipulate data
+ A passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of digital marketing trends
+ Highly organised with a good attention to detail
+ Having a ‘can do’ attitude and being willing to learn and continuously improve
+ A passion for and understanding of sustainability
+ An understand or prior experience of SEO and PPC
+ An eye for detail (design skills desirable – via Canva)
+ Salary: £26,000-£30,000 depending on experience
+ Discretionary bonus
+ Holidays: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays plus 1 day for birthday
+ Other benefits: 8% employer contribution to pension, fitness allowance and cycle to work scheme.
+ Location: The office is located at Old Street and features Art Deco furnishings, a speakeasy-style lounge and café bar, as well as an on-site gym and roof terrace. Flexible working is offered, but we would expect the applicant to work with the team in our London office at least 1-2 days per week.
