Data Analyst - OUTDOOR planning Agency
Be part of an exciting new Product and Data team. This team sit on a vast amount of first- and third-party data which could unlock a wealth of insights to make our business more efficient and generate additional income. This role will make an important contribution to supporting the team’s mission to deliver data-driven solutions for their clients but also make the business more effective in achieving its Global objectives.
The core responsibilities for this role include:
· Strategically analyse the wealth of data to create new insights for the business, create efficiencies and help to streamline internal processes.
· Partner data housed within the companies automated planning and buying system
· Be curious and opportunistic with our data to uncover new applications for it internally and externally
· Produce analysis from campaign data and contribute towards creating insights which helps to solve audience targeting and campaign planning challenges which help to generate revenue
· Use data visualisation software & techniques to explain and showcase analysis and make analysis-based recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
· Accurately analyse historical buying and campaign data to identify trends which can be applied to future planning
· Keep up to date with the latest industry reports and data regulations and help the team to make informed business decisions about any opportunities or challenges in this space
· Evaluate the reliability and accuracy of data supplied by third party partners
· Train more junior members of the team in using relevant data analytics tools and software
· Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with internal teams & external partners
Required Experience
· Producing ad hoc reports and analysis and contribute to other tasks as required
· Significant demonstrable experience in BI, Analytics, Data Science or comparable fields, ideally within the media industry
· Experience of working in a fast-moving team delivering solutions for clients or business partners.
· Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
· Knowledge of SQL or AWS/Athena and/or experience in using other coding languages is a bonus
