Job Title - Talent and Resource Manager
The Role / Company
Major Players are working with an industry leading agency who are best known for creating trail-blazing campaigns for some of the worlds most prestigious brands. They are looking for a Resource and Talent manager with a great eye for creative talent and a natural understanding of resource and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Senior management ensuring 100% effectiveness of the business by arranging high quality internal and external talent across pitch and production state
- Work closely with producers and creatives by taking a proactive role to plan and research ahead for resource and talents needs at all stages, ensuring in house talent workload is managed and schedules (pitching, creative development, production and post-production)
- Develop and run talent shortlisting, approval processes and quality control systems to ensure external suppliers meet standards needed where input and sign-off into the process as required
- Administer company resource management tool and enforce timely, accurate recording of bookings and time spent on projects
- Regularly report progress and escalate any issues on resourcing and scheduling to the SLT
- Look beyond single project needs across multiple / simultaneous workstreams when finding talent solutions while keeping company standards high
- Record and maintain supplier information and feedback into Project Management and talent pool databases, and become familiar with extended
- Investigate high-quality suppliers via competitor work, either directly or by inspiration/supplier profile
Key Requirements
- 3+ years experience in talent / freelance and supplier procurement across all stages of agency workflow in production company or other agency environment
- Keen eye for detail and passion for working on creative content
- Experience in talent and supplier scheduling and management in a fast-paced production company or agency environment
- Confident organiser that plans ahead and can hold strong communication in reporting and escalation issues
- Comfortable collaborating with inhouse creative and production team
- Good computer skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, booking tools
