This is a fantastic role, and we ideally need someone who has had experience working within Interior Design or leading production at scale for design led projects and builds. 

Our client is an interior design business based in Central London - a fantastic reputation, talented team of around 40 people and a great creative leader sitting at the top who is multi award winning. 

They lead interior design projects ranging from £500k, up to £1.5m, and the team is full of designers, creatives, and talented thinkers. But they're lacking a Production Director, someone who gets and understands process, structure, can see projects from start to finish, can check on resource and budgeting, and then sourcing. 

It's quite rare to find someone in the world of interior design, and our thought is to look for talent outside of this sector and other industries, maybe someone who has a real passion for interior design or is working within interior design and they're keen to try a role like this and lead. 

The Production Director will have a lot of responsibility. You'll sit on the senior leadership team, and work closely with the Creative Director, Finance Director, Procurement Team and you'll be responsible for making sure the studio runs like clockwork. The  Production Director will be on top of all jobs, tracking time and allocating resource, ensuring that the creatives are working efficiently as possible and to the allocated time. 

The Production Director needs to be a leader, and on the detail, you'll have experience running projects from start to finish, understanding timings, builds, and how to source and from where. You'll have exceptional project management skills, and ideally a passion for interior design.
