The Design Resource Manager within the Studio Team is a gateway to the Prodigious Studio Design offering.

The role is pivotal in the running of the team and you’ll work closely with our Creative Design Lead and the Head of Studio to ensure you have an up to date overview of the Production design pipeline, the design team workload and their capabilities, in order to effectively resource briefs.

You’ll also resource freelance talent when required ensuring that our high creative standards are fully met.

For this role, we require a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.

Core responsibilities

• Work with Production Design Lead managing the day-to-day resourcing requirement of the Production Design team
• Attend all relevant resourcing meetings
• Ensure an up to the minute view of forthcoming projects in order to forecast resourcing requirements
• Monitor usage and burn against agreed timelines and agreed estimates
• Maintain cost trackers, briefing platforms and resourcing platforms
• Support PMs in developing estimates and helping to ensure adherence to agreed milestones both in terms of costs and timings
• Flag any potential cost or timing overruns and provide suitable solutions
• Liaise with other Prodigious (PDG) departments to ensure the smooth transition of projects through PDG

As a Design Resource Manager within PDG; experience working on a complex piece of business with leading creative partners is essential, combined with a solid understanding of the production process.

Your skills

• You must be familiar with creative and production agency processes
• A thorough knowledge of a Production Design offering
• Experience of managing multiple complex multi-faceted projects
• Experience of interpreting and briefing creative projects to ensure creative agency expectations are fully understood and resourced appropriately
• Familiar with typical agency budgetary processes and reporting
• A champion of your teams needs and capabilities to ensure the right resource is available
• Experience of managing resource in order to mitigate and minimise possible challenges to budgets and timings
