The Project Director Creative Imaging is a key leadership role within the Studio Team. You’ll be a passionate advocate of producing great work living and breathing the Prodigious focus on craft and creativity.

This role is pivotal in the running a team of Senior Creative Retouchers in the UK and offshore, maintaining and growing our reputation with our client and agency partners.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Studio to ensure that the quality of the output and the flow of projects through the Studio is constantly improving. Whilst engaging with our creative partners to understand their needs and continually develop our offering.

For the Project Director Creative Imaging, previous extensive experience working in a similar environment with leading creative agencies is essential.

Your skills

• You must be familiar with creative and production agency processes
• A thorough understanding of what great looks like within a leading creative agency environment
• Experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects
• Experience in interpreting and briefing creative projects to ensure creative agency expectations are fully understood, resourced appropriately and above all met
• Familiar with typical agency budgetary processes and reporting
• A champion of your teams needs and capabilities to grow and develop them and the offering
• Experience in managing resource in order to mitigate and minimise possible challenges to budgets and timings

More than any other role, the Project Director Creative Imaging is a dynamic and proactive position that demands a willingness to engage with clients to identify, meet and exceed their needs.

Core responsibilities

• Work with agency production partners to manage the day-to-day resourcing requirement of the Creative Retouching Team
• Attend all relevant resourcing meetings
• Ensure an up to the minute view of forthcoming projects in order to forecast resourcing requirements
• Monitor usage and burn against agreed timelines and estimates
• Maintain cost trackers, briefing and resourcing platforms
• Support PMs in developing estimates and helping to ensure adherence to agreed milestones both in terms of costs and timings
• Flag any potential cost or timing overruns and provide suitable solutions
• Liaise with other Prodigious (PDG) departments to ensure the smooth transition of projects through PDG
