Delivery manages projects from kick-off to delivery on time, on budget, and on brief. Delivery is everyone’s go to place for the project at all stages of the project lifecycle. Clients and internal team members rely on you for everything they need to know about a project: what to expect, what to do next, and where they need to be. You will have a fascination about all things digital. You want to know how things work and you are always on the look-out for new tools, services and ways of doing things.

What we’re looking for

As the Programme Manager on one of our largest accounts, you will be at the forefront of shaping and delivering exceptional projects. As a highly motivated individual, who can inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams, you are responsible for initiation, implementation and support of strategic programmes and complex large-scale projects for a number of global brands (typically 15-20 team members, £500k+ revenue). You will ensure project scope is defined, create and manage the project plan, and provide direction to all members of the project team. You will be ultimately responsible for planning and coordinating activities of individual projects and overall programmes in complex client stakeholder environments and across multiple Agencies to ensure that the goals are accomplished and client needs are met.

As a natural problem solver, you will have a deep understanding of the digital landscape and will play a crucial role in helping to set the strategic direction for the portfolio team. You will also need to manage project management resources across a broad portfolio of deliverables, and successfully foster strong relationships across the business and wider Groupe, aligning approaches with industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Day to day oversight of the overall team (within this one account portfolio)
  • Define responsibilities, set direction, and allocate with the project team
  • Manage and co-ordinate activities, timelines and dependencies across multiple Agencies to ensure seamless end to end delivery
  • Manage project and account level resourcing
  • Deliver programme level weekly status reporting to client
  • Manage weekly commercial reporting/recording for company (including resource forecast & Tempo)
  • Manage Inter Agencies commercial reporting and governance
  • Seek to maximise revenue across multiple projects / brands through project delivery (profit margin)
  • Develop project proposals and statements of work leveraging experience of key discipline leads
  • Lead and facilitate workshops and interviews when required
  • Manage a delivery team, demonstrating leadership skills in addressing delivery and performance issues and undertaking tasks to build team morale
  • Day to day leadership of a project and/or delivery team, managing multiple work streams and levels of colleagues, addressing delivery and performance issues, undertaking tasks to build team morale
  • Hold responsibility for the quality of the project deliverables and communications
  • Conduct timely, fair and accurate project reviews for direct reports, using the standard templates, where appropriate
  • Draw on client experiences and external trends to advise others on how to best meet our clients’ current and future needs
  • Proactively recognise new business opportunities. Develop them and help
    us to win them

Qualifications

  • Degree educated - subject non-specific
  • Proven experience in working in a fast-paced agency or consultancy environment
  • Extensive experience managing projects for blue-chip firms/clients, including projects in a web/digital consulting environment
  • Experience managing marketing, creative or technology projects
  • Experience developing project plans using MS Project, PRINCE 2 and Agile project methodologies
  • Evidence of management of project teams of 30 people or more to successful conclusion
  • Managed projects with revenue of £500k+
  • Team player with top class interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Managed relationships at a senior level within large corporations. Comfortable working with senior management
  • Proven client management abilities to negotiate scope and finances
  • Proven organisational skills
  • Very strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to run client workshops of up to 10 people on multiple subject areas
  • Can articulate Project Management methodology - processes, practices, controls, team management, project delivery phases
  • Ability to turn requirements into a viable project plan and marshal resources required to deliver
