The activity forms part of Lavazza's sponsorship of the event, as the official coffee of the event. This is the 15th year that Lavazza has been involved with LFW, which kicks off today (16 September).
An estimated 30,000 cups will be handed out during the shows. The bespoke limited edition Lavazza coffee cups will serve the authentic Italian coffee for the duration of LFW and will be served from the Store Kitchen at Brewer St Car Park.
Mother of Pearl was originally founded by Maia Norman, whose lifestyle and surroundings heavily influenced the collection and brands ethos. Fusing the signature sportswear details with luxury fabrics, Mother of Pearl’s pieces have gained a global cult following, with over 90 stockists worldwide.
This year Lavazza is also working with photographer Denis Rouvre to capture the relationship between mankind and the environment through photography for the 2017 Lavazza Calendar, entitled ‘We Are What We Live’.
Earlier this month, Lavazza hosted an event celebrating the best of Italy's luxury gastronomy. It also served coffees with selfies to hordes of tennis fans at this year's The Championships, Wimbledon.
